Running through the monsoon

omg you should so listen to Tokio Hotel's Monsoon .. swee en told me about them. And they sound pretty good.

We went to take a look at the Greek Exhibition and its really no big deal .. theres not a lot to see. But it was quite fun looking at a few of my ancestors ;) We had lunch at Cine and we bought some Mrs Fields cookies nibblers .. mm! So we got home for a while so issy could go to church and mommy sent beatrice to tuition then both of us headed to Holland V. I bought a new springform pan at pantry magic and mommy bought some spray thing then we had tea at the da paolo pizza bar. Pretty nice afternoon.

I can't find my science notes online. Goshh. I just did my notes on the Ecology chapter. I know, am I cool or what?

Mmm I think I'll blog tomorrow. No mood right now.

Happy Birthday to Me!

This has to be one of the most pleasant birthdays I ever had. My parents basically gave me cash to spend (which is pretty cool considering ...) and I find that they just might finally be back on their game! I'm sooo looking forward to getting my other presents tomorrow.

And to ALL the people who remembered, you really made my day with all your early wishes today (: I hope I get more tomorrow XD

Tomorrow lessons start .. its like the first day of turning sec two (here's where the fun starts, quote kenric) .. what a great start eh? Tell me this is gonna be a good year .. I really hope it would be. I gotta start bucking up on my faith in God. I lost so much faith last year.

Put all my faith in the Lord and don't worry as much as I usually do.

This was the pic we took with xiao wang and he turned his head to lick me and after the photo .. I had this really icky slobber-fied ear. I love my dog (I've warmed up to it)! I feel like I was in one of those "DOGS, a man's bestfriend" adverts XD.

Bombay Dreams. I just finished reading my lit text for the year. And it wasn't as bad as I thought it was gonna be. So last minute finishign up of lit homework. And school seems to be going okay. BIRTHDAY BIRTHDAY IN TWO DAYS. I hope there's a surprise .. hinthint.

Everyone is drifiting apart. I don't want to lose friends. Correction, I would like to STOP losing friends. Poo ): Everyone is growing up, I wish I could too.

2008 not so much a year of doom?

Hello I'm Niki and I can read.

The clouds have cleared and I'm in the class I want to be in. Finally, next year feels like it actually might be a pleasant one. I mean, sure we have not so much of a cool/hip form teacher (the kind of form teacher you'll always want) wisdom got that, but thats okay.

Happy New Year you losers out there. And good luck to Os to kenric and issy and well the others are in ib so nevermind.

New Year Resolution : to rock the home ec halls next year

that was really a joke. But I'm gonna start baking again. It makes my life sort of happier. That long break I took during the holiday paid off. But I still remember before I left for hongkong .. beatrice came up to me and asked " niki, can you please go bake your walnut brownies or cookies or bake something!" and I asked her why and she just said she missed my sweet treats but I didn't bake for her in the end.

So time to stock up on flour and vanilla extract and start smiling. I feel like I have to compensate for last year. No more negativity ( or at least I'm gonna try) (thanks to eli and the talk he gave me) and hello ms stupid sunshine! Thank god im not blonde.

Reflection Post 2007.

Wushh what can I say? So much happened this year. Crystal is now in hongkong or wherever she went. I didn't snatch a chance to say a proper goodbye to her, I could only flood her tagboard with sweet farewell notes and fake emoticon smileys. I miss her. I wish everyone could just come back. And maybe sometimes I wish we could repeat the year and maybe sometimes I wish that this year could burn and shrivel under the sun till it reeks of a strong smell of rotten eggs or maybe milk. Cos despite the awfully lanky long complaints I have been giving, I had fun this year .. I really did. Karyn has left us/me to go hide in her rabbit burrow of doom and become the hermit she really is. And I miss her too. I want one last outing. And we were cool like when we were the freaks with the blue ties in the beginning or maybe those times where we could just act so stupid. Our milo drinking contests that result in us both barfing. The midnight sleepovers you had at my place because we're both such screw ups we have to start on our overdue chinese projects a week late. When you came over to bake and offered to be my stir-er for the day and eat my krispy kremes. And all the times you came over after school. I wish I knew where you went to or if I was just as lucky as to find a rainbow that I could cross over and find the burrow you're hiding in and have some earl grey tea with you. Claudia has been great fun the entire year and I wish we could still be friends now but what happens, happens and no i'm not really mad at you at all. Colleen&Saacha, you two weren't in our class but thanks for the recess's by the specstand and just really being there. I don't have much to say to you two but I guess this year wouldn't be this year without Saacha's longgggg talks about her jewish voodoo voodoo ways and colleen's emaw dao .. your so lame but im still your friend-ness (: And eeeugh im not gonna talk about the teachers cos this year was filled with all types of weird teachers but I'll give some props to the form teacher, he did well and turned out to be pretty nice in the end. And I know we're always talking and wondering about " sometimes I wonder why your my friend" but we always figure it in the end. And Sara for always being there for me just this entire year! And listening me rant about all the stuff you don't care about but still be the critic I want you to be (:
And I don't have a single clue about what next year is gonna be like and I know we're all really afraid about class allocation and we might not be friends every again (just kidding) but I'll really miss you guys. As a matter of fact, I had a dream! Okay never mind. Oh I wonder I wonder.

heyhey,
I feel tired. Strangely enough, I manage to keep myself awake. One half of me wants to give it a chance. The other half just really wants the bed.
Tired. Sick and so Tired of all of this.

It was fun. I love long runs.

I went to a little boy's birthday party yesterday. I watched all these little kids have fun. And they made so much noise. But it wasn't too bad. It was pretty okay actually. I feel like talking to some people now. I just wish they'd come online and put an end to my suffering. Tired.

Natalie came over today so I couldn't have klim over. And she studed with issy while I finished my tuition homework in my bedroom. I am so disorganized. Its so scary.

I pulled out my books and papers and notes.
A fresh new clean pad of foolscap
&& a really good inky use-able pen.

Then I got bored.
So I watched Greys Anatomy re-runs while doing my work. So I was really distracted but I got them done.

Greys Anatomy reruns && late homework, not a bad combination.

I think I'm going downstairs to have a cheese omelette. I talk like a retard. Omg I'm going mad. Stop ranting like now. I think I'm baking bread and butter pudding for the dinner at Godma's house tomorrow! And I hate smellign like dog. Played too much with the dog today I think.

Looking for a new lj layout is so fustrating. Firstly, I know how to put the skin up. Lj controls are confusing. So I just had to make one myself in the end. I wonder how long this one will stay.

Dinner out with Mommy tonight. Uhmm mommy just bought two christmas presents for each of us. But she wrapped it up so all of us have no clue what we're getting. I hope more are coming :D. Every year the number varies. Last year we got three from our parents. There was one year where we got two from each parent. Coolness.

So its beatrice's birthday today. My mom bought her a dog as a present. $3000 of evil. I don't like dogs very much. They chase me. I really want my KitchenAid baby now. So I got really pissed this morning cos' the entire family went out forgetting all about me. Left me alone in this shithole with no food cos they brought the maid out too. So I talked with Karyn and we were figuring out ways to get back at them. So they come home with this dog. Its a Golden Labrador Retriever. Will post pics of the mutt up tomorrow. So Karyn's comign over tomorrow to study and 'play' with the dog.

But as for now ..

I don't care about my guilty pleasure for you

The results for the game below are really disappointing/amusing. Haha I never knew I was tHAT unpredictable.
Had math tuition this morning. Was really bored/tired so wasn't doing too well. Went to Lido, spotted Paul Twohill and his girlfriend ;)! He cut his hair short! No more emo hairstyle. And he was snogging her :O! Lol. Watched Bratz .. bimboest shit ever! Hated it. Couldn't stand watching the entire thing luh. Ate lunch at Crystal Jade then got home. Tomorrow is Beatrice's birthday! Woosh! Happy 10th birthday! I can't believe shes gonna be Primary 5 next year. Nostalgia.

I think Jaslene is gonna be the winner of ANTM'S Cycle 8!

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving dinner tonight, Hot fresh turkey, mashed patatos && cranberry sauce! :D Guh I love thanksgiving .. don't you? Its the only one time in the year that mommy cooks.

So the starhub guy came to upgrade our starhub thingum. So we have more than 300 channels now! And its so cool when I channel surf because I've been doing it since 2 today! And I keep forgetting what channels are the good channels! And omg! I watched Nigella's show today! I learnt SO much. I like her better than Martha Stewart. Watched StarWars Episode 2 of the entire epic saga. Which was so cool cos thats my favourite episode! Watched it on HBO something like family or something forgot. Toooooooooo many channels! XD But I'm loving it!

They're still downstairs roasting the turkey. So have a good thanksgiving everyone! (:

Wednesday

Morning/Training:
Training was the usual. And after training we had a midd lunch and we all decided to cab to j8 except there were 10 of us :O! And no cab wanted to take 5 people in their car. So it was really hard to flag a cab outside the school cos very few cabs stop there. But the first half of us managed to get one that would take 5! Except that was the one that rejected the other half I was in .. he said he was only driving to Toa Payoh but he changed his mind when it went to the other half. So my half which made up of Serlin, Nat, Shi Ting, Me & Winsy were left behind at the front of the school gate with zero taxis passing by. So we ran up the slope (6 slopes today yo) annd ran down this longgggg road to the road junction which meant more cabs. About two taxis turned us downn because of the number. Until one really really kind uncle said 5 was okay as long as the small one remains (not see-able) so winsy sat really low next to me! And we got there like 20 mintues later than everyone else! They ate at PastaMania && me and winsy and nat ate MOS burger. Then we walked around for a while and Elaine's mom was so nice as to pick us up. 4 people had to cab back though :O! The rest of the 6 squeezed in her mom's car :D We got back in time according to the time Ms Lim gave us :D I had fun midd!

Sports Camp 2007:
It wasn't really what I expected it to be but I suppose it was pretty fun. They gave us a talk about how each sport is doing. And how our school is doing .. in terms of sports. Apparently we come in fourth in Singapore. Sports School was first followed by Rgs then by Nanyang then us, poo ): So we did all the planning in our ccas, planning for 2008. Like our goals and stuff plus the SWOT (strenghts,weaknesses,opportunity,threats) all for 2008. Had our break then we started on the cca fair stuff. The we played inter-cca games! So trackers played againsted hockers,badminton players & netballers! We played soccer which was fun! Thenn we all got to go home! Ohoh! And I met Joanna! She was cheering for the trackers even though shes a gym girl! Yay (:

Home:
Went to Lido to watch Enchanted then we ate at Crystal Jade for dinner.

Today:
not sure whats happenning today, might be going to the club cos we have two overdue books. And ANTM plus Greys Anatomy tonight :D

I'm at Mommy's office now and its making me feel really screwy because every computer, in the place, has zero access to my Windows Live Messenger. And I mean Z-E-R-O. I even asked her - secretary to help me with the computer, and all she said was something about some network connection. So I suppose I wouldn't be able to go online until 4 or 5 when I get home.

Mommy has a pretty nice office. And there are pretty nice people there too. I wanted her to give me a holiday job here but she said she could only give me one if there was space for me. And daddy said I was too young and to wait for next year. So I don't think I'm gonna be going out a lot this year. No money. At least next year I'd be happy because if I work at my mom's place .. its 8 bucks an hour. Slightly MORE than what Nigel is being paid. And from what I hear .. nigel is doing pretty well at his job. Like being promoted and stuff. Woahh right? All I'll get to do next year is Data Entry & Filing. Poo ): Nigel gets to correct the grammatical errors in the written proposals of his boss. Like an english teacher. Hah.

I have to wake up really early tomorrow morning cos HanYu raised midd training time to 8.30 .. sigh. Wish me luck please (:
I have day camp for the rest of tomorrow after training.Day Camp = all seven sports (camp). Should be quite fun. So won't be posting until probably thursday, I'd be too dead tired.

Going to sleep early tonight like right after watching Despo Housewives.

The holidays are passing by really quickly. Heh.
Tomorrow won't be bad, I know it won't be bad, I'd be happy,I'd stay positive and happy, I know I will, I better.

So mommy & daddy just came back from Japan and they brought home with them lots and lots of japanese treats! All the Mejii chocolate. I'm so happy, its like I'm in heaven.

Guh, woke up really really really early today for training because training started at 9 which means I had to get up at 7. Went to training and came home by 12.30?

Mommy was already waiting for me to go out for lunch with them, so changed quickly and bounced onto car and off, to Tangs we went! Mommy bought a new luggage cos hers was broken at some parts. Ate Hokkien Mee for lunch at some cafe upstairs of Tangs, mmm! And tangs is selling really nice christmas stuff, not exactly The Link material, but sometimes, the link stuff creep me out .. like that hanging frog we have, or the happy clown/jumble box pop up thing.

Crossed over to Taka for shopping and mommy bought this pair of earrings from Flower. And I asked her about how much a diamond costs cos' eliseus says hes not rich enought to get his mom diamonds for her birthday or christmas.

Bought a Mjphosis short/puffy silver dress! && A pair of loose,knee length, white, Zara pants!

Went to eat Seafood for dinner, gosh! I hate all these seafood places .. I swear their really dirty and unhygienic. Tomorrow my younger sister is going for her prefect interview, yes shes a prefect.

And oh wednesday I have fashion show with mommy and I'm actually going to meet Stella Mccartney because shes coming to promote her new line of clothes or something, a new boutique of hers opened in singapore. Its in Taka (:

I'm here, I'm now, I'm ready

Listening to '23' does make me feel happier. Its become one of my favourite songs though the lyrics sort of make no sense. Pishposh, I want to turn 23.

It wasn't exactly a great day. But it was okay.

The math tuition teacher came before I woke up so I had to wash up really quickly and have 2 hours of math tuition. With my tummy rumbling, she could tell I was really hungry without my breakfast, But I held on, I don't usually eat breakfast anyway. I skip breakfast and dinner. Thats one meal a day. Woahh.

Karyn came over around 1.30 so that we could both study, Decided to go to serene to study. We ate/studied at Island Creamery and actually got some work done. Rented movies and got home all sleepy/tired and depressed.

I hate my life, I really do.

Tomorrow, tennis at karyn's place and sun tanning. Woosh!

Happy Birthday Daddy (: Thanks for loving the cake!

Had dinner at Sistina at ChipBee Gardens before that to celebrate with delicious tasting pizza!

Yepp so it was daddy's birthday today! And he loved the Chocolate Banana Cake with Deep Chocolate Ganache I baked for him! And my sister could only comment about how I'm trying to get the whole family to turn out really fat. And I must admit, putting the oreos at the side was a big mistake because the taste just didn't go. But since it was just for decoration I wouldn't blame myself too much. Phew! What a big relief, and I thought I was going to stop baking for like ever?!

Training was really normal/okay. I prayed and god just made it work for me. Yay. No training tomorrow so I'm gonna sleep a hell lot. Because I just feel SO tired. No muscle aches please.

Tomorrow serene with chester then hes comign over to have a taste of the cake. Woosh! I'm happy.

Daddy's birthday is today. I wished him on the phone because I couldn't wake up in time. We're going for his birthday dinner tonight and I baked a chocolate banana cake for him last night. But its screwed up, oh wells.
